Emily Siu, M.Ed, RBT

Emily graduated with a bachelor degree in Art Psychology at University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Throughout the secondary school years, Emily volunteered in different non-profit organizations, and supported individuals with special needs and developmental disabilities in Hong Kong. Since 2004, the interest and passion of supporting others has been growing. Having these experiences, she understands that working in a team is very important to achieve the goal, and that could maximize the ability to support others in needs.
In her final undergraduate year, Emily started working as a behavioural interventionist (BI) in Vancouver. Using ABA theory, she hopes that she could help children with special needs. Although it may take them longer to learn, she feels content to accompany them and see their improvement.

Jessica Lau, B.Com. in Marketing, RBT

Jessica graduated from The University of Auckland in 2004 and joined P.L.A.I. Behaviour Consulting in 2016. She has been serving the Education Sector in Hong Kong over 10 years, and she has a solid experience on providing learning support to students from early learners to teenagers and young adults with different backgrounds.
Jessica believes every child is unique and gifted in his/her own way. She is enthusiastic on helping children with special needs, that she attended child development courses and actively participates volunteering works on helping children from poor families, as well as those with learning difficulties. Jessica has completed her coursework in BCaBA and is working towards her certification.

Cynthia Lee, Master of Social Sciences (Counselling), RBT

Cynthia respects all individuals who are unique and gifted. She has passion and love towards children, especially those with special needs. She left the animation field few years ago and then she has dedicated herself to helping children to grow with positive behaviour support. She started as a volunteer for non-profit organizations, while worked as an art teacher at a studio and different schools. Then she became a classroom assistant of a group of students with special needs. She joined P.L.A.I. Behaviour Consulting in 2016 and continue to support children and parents.
Cynthia believes that every child has their own ways of learning, and will shine once their characteristics are discovered and developed. By implementation of ABA intervention, together with her background knowledge of Satir Family Therapy and Child-centered Therapy, she has succeeded in improving life of children with special needs and their families.

Johnny Fung, B.A. in Psychology, RBT

Johnny graduated with a bachelor degree in Arts Psychology in Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. In his second year, he volunteered in a consultation company with children with special need. He took part in social groups, summer camps, and life skill programs. Through this volunteering opportunity, he has learned that he cannot do all the good that the world needs, but the world needs all the good that he can do. And by doing so, he can help the population to live up to their full potential.
After his graduation, Johnny continued to pursuit his passion and he started working as a BI in a renowned organization (ABA Learning Centre) in Vancouver. Through working with a variety of clients and a series of trainings and workshops, Johnny has gained a well-established skill set and an extensive experience for different types of individuals in the spectrum. Johnny later returned to Hong Kong hoping to use what he learned from abroad to help the population here.

Vincy Cheng, B.A. in Education, Culture and Childhood, RBT

Vincy graduated from The University of Sheffield (United Kingdom) in Bachelor of Arts in Education, Culture and Childhood. During her bachelor degree, she gained educational experience from different schools settings in the United Kingdom. She is committed to providing her students with an interesting and motivating learning environment that allows them to grow and develop. In her second year, she had a chance to work with children with special needs in nursery and primary school. Vincy believes that every child is unique, so if they cannot learn the way we teach, we teach the way they learn. She joined P.L.A.I. after graduating from the University of Sheffield in 2018 with the mission of improving children's quality of life.
Samantha Fung, BSc in Psychology

Samantha graduated from the University of Bath (United Kingdom) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She has previously worked at summer camps for young children in Hong Kong. During her third year of university, she completed a research internship at a Developmental Studies Lab at Harvard University which focused on the conceptual development of young children and their understanding of the world around them. Through these opportunities, she has gained immense experience in developmental research, and her passion of working with children has strengthened, further inspiring her to pursue a career in supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
Samantha joined P.L.A.I. in 2020 right after graduating from university. Her goal is to help children with special needs gain important skills in a fun and exciting way in order to develop into the best versions of themselves.

Helen Siu, B.A.

- Helen graduated from Northumbria University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. After her graduation, she has been volunteering in the dorm of mild intelligent disability. She found her the ability to develop a rapport with Autism pupils almost immediately. She determined to start her career with supporting Special Education Need kids, and she worked in the middle-school. She is dedicated to creating positive education culture in the community. She believes that every child is talented and gifted. She strives to enlighten their capabilities and creates a fascinating learning environment by adopting the applied behavior analysis strategy.

Shirley Shi, Master of Education

Shirley received her Master of Education degree in Special needs, Giftedness and Counseling at the Education University of Hong Kong and currently working towards her Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA). She worked in the kindergarten for many years. Since 2018, she has been working in the private agency to support children with autism spectrum disorder and other special educational needs. She believes that every child is unique and they can achieve their full potential by self-motivation.

Natasha Kwok, MSocSci, Educational Psychologist, RBT

Natasha graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc. in Psychology. Between her studies, she dedicated herself to research in several Developmental Psychology labs in universities in England and Hong Kong, where she acquired invaluable experience in conducting developmental research and working with children with special needs. She also worked as a home-based ABA therapist in England, where she provided intensive behavioural intervention for a child with ASD. Natasha joined P.L.A.I. in 2015 and has been working to provide quality support for children with diverse learning needs. In 2016, she started her Masters degree in Educational Psychology, in hopes of bringing knowledge and experience from related specialties to our service.

Constance Chow, B.Sc. in Psychology, RBT

Constance graduated from the University of Sheffield (United Kingdom) in Bachelor of Sciences in Psychology. Alongside her studies, she has gained valuable research and volunteer experience in working with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). With a long-standing interest in ASD, Constance is determined to bring positive changes to children with special needs. She also strives to facilitate an encouraging and enjoyable learning environment where children with special needs can access to the support in reaching their full potential.
