I am working with the HK Institute of Education and Autism HK in organizing a workshop about using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to deal with problem behaviours. PBS is a collaborative, assessment-based approach that can effectively reduce or eliminate problem behaviours. If you are interested or you may know someone who can benefit from this, stay tune! Detail information will be available soon!!
I will be running a free talk through the Hong Kong Coaching Outreach meetup platform. The talk will be on May 15 form 7 to 8:45pm. It will be held in Wan Chai. To register, please go to meetup.com and sign up for the Hong Kong Coaching Outreach group. Then go to events and sign up for the free parent training talk.
Looking forward to see you!
A few days ago, I received a message from Tina, a behaviour interventionist (BI) I worked with in Canada. She was an amazing BI and an early childhood education teacher in an inclusive setting. She told me she would be starting her master program in the fall and she was very excited about advancing herself. In her message, she wrote, "You are my inspiration. You are the reason why I decided to go in this field." My eyes were tearing as I read that. And I thought, "Tina, you were the reason why I was able to support these families the way we did it. Without your hard work, my job would be impossible." We worked as a team. Every member of the team was essential. I am very proud of Tina. I am sure that she will contribute a lot more to the field in the years to come. Thank you!
